Where Summer meets Fall

In front of my local Trader Joes, the battle for the supremacy of the seasonal big, round, vine-grown produce favorites has suddenly shifted in favor of pumpkins. Just in time for the equinox.

Happy Autumn!

  1. Just tonight at Publix (our grocery store) we noticed the same thing...they had long stalks of dried wheat, indian corn, cinnamon brooms and tons of lovely decorative pumpkins! It is all just so great, isn't it??? This with all 2-3 days of drier, cooler air has been fantastic!

  3. We had a beautiful, cool, cloudy day today, but they're saying it will be in the 90's+ by this weekend.

I love the fall decorations, and I'm always sorry when the stores switch over to Christmas stuff the day after Halloween. November is fall too, people.

    and...
My name is Cindy and I'm addicted to candy corn :P

  4. Yes I have noticed the decorative gourds that are being sold in the stores. Also all the Halloween stuff is out. Now I want to go to Trader Joe's!

Reluctantly, I have reinstated the word verification for all comments on this blog. I don't like it any more than you do, but the rate of breakthrough spam was even more annoying. Thanks for understanding.
